Inclusive Catholic Education of Oregon

July 1th, 2026

Inclusive Catholic Education of Oregon exists to provide children with special needs the opportunity for an Inclusive Catholic Education in their home parish schools. We are raising the awareness of the benefits of inclusive education, providing assistance with regard to inclusive practices, and raising funds to make inclusion possible. Catholic Education of Oregon is all about empowering children to be their best selves. The generous donation from Soar4 will enable us to support more schools this year than the year before.

Letter from Jeff Young

July 1th, 2026

Dear Coach Casey,

I wanted to personally thank you for the generous gift from your foundation. I was deeply touched by your kindness and support.

Living with ALS for many years has taught me that while challenges are inevitable, so are the incredible acts of generosity that remind us we are not facing them alone. Your gift will make a meaningful difference in my life, and it will help in ways that ease some of the daily burdens that come with this journey.

More than the financial assistance, I am grateful for what the gift represents—a reminder that there are people who care and are willing to make a difference in the lives of others. That means a great deal to me.

Thank you for your generosity, your compassion, and for the work your foundation does to help people.

Please know how much I appreciate it.

With sincere gratitude, Jeff Young

Growing Hope's Garden

July 1th, 2026

We are so grateful for you; through your giving, our women and their babies can continue to grow and thrive in this safe and loving home called “Hope’s Garden”. As they live here (free of charge), they learn to trust people again. Where others have left them alone and afraid, we come alongside them and stay. Your gift helps our women learn parenting and budgeting skills, utilize continuing education opportunities and job skills training, and find the time and space to transform both their lives and their children’s lives from the inside out. Family lines change when kindness and compassion replace trauma and pain and we cannot thank you enough for being a part of this journey with them and with us!

Project 48

July 1th, 2026

Thank you SOAR4 for your support and investment in the lives of local youth who are experiencing foster care! Your partnership means so much to us.

Reading Results

July 1th, 2026

Reading by third grade is crucial to a child’s educational development. Falling behind creates challenges that negatively impact a child’s education and self-esteem for years to come. Reading Results is committed to helping struggling learners get on the path toward academic success and a brighter future. Thank you to SOAR4 Foundation for supporting our mission and belief that every child deserves to read and succeed.

Family Promise of Tualatin Valley

July 1th, 2026

Family homelessness is often out-of-sight and goes unnoticed, and yet hundreds of youth and their families go unsheltered every year in Washington County. Family Promise of Tualatin Valley works on the premise that it takes a caring community to embrace these families and equip them with the tools necessary to find stable housing.

In 2025, FPTV provided 63,309 safe shelter bed nights and volunteers served 25,860 warm meals to the 272 children and their families who sought emergency shelter with us. Additionally, our housing stabilization team helped 171 families avoid eviction and stay in their homes.

It takes compassionate people like those at Soar4 Foundation to believe in our families and invest in their futures. Soar4 Foundation’s generous support will safely shelter and feed hundreds of families and children and help them to get back on their feet and into stable housing.

The families of FPTV are grateful to Soar4 Foundation for helping to make their housing dreams a reality.

ABC House

June 6th, 2026

ABC House is a Children’s Advocacy Center providing a safe, coordinated place for child abuse investigations and healing. When a child walks through our doors, we provide forensic interviews conducted by specially trained professionals, medical exams to ensure their physical health and safety, therapy and mental health services to help kids process trauma, and advocacy to guide families through what can be an overwhelming and confusing process. Last year alone, we served more than 800 children in our community.

We are deeply grateful to SOAR4 for seeing our mission and choosing to invest in the children and families we serve.

Hannah Grace Family

June 6th, 2026

We are filled with gratitude because of your generous support of Hannah Grace family. In the last year, we facilitated 1,100 visitations between parents and children who have entered the foster care system. The Ascend music side of Hannah Grace just graduated 52 fully scholar-shipped students to receive instruments and weekly lessons. Your generous gift enables our ongoing and continually increasing work…. And we are so thankful! Thank you SOAR4 Foundation!

With Love Oregon

April 20th, 2026

When he arrived at my doorstep, he had nothing more than a Ziploc bag with two diapers, a few wipes, and a sippy cup. This is the reality for many children entering foster care — arriving with almost nothing, through no fault of their own. Thanks to the Soar4 Foundation, 10 children received two full weeks of clothing, including new socks, underwear, and essential diapering supplies — restoring dignity and care when they needed it most.

Heart of Oregon Corps

April 20th, 2026

We are deeply grateful to the Soar4 Foundation for its generous support of Heart of Oregon Corps’ Campus Campaign. Their investment is helping us build a purpose-built youth workforce development campus that will bring training, education, and support services together under one roof, creating clear pathways into employment, skilled trades, education, and self-sufficiency. This campus will serve 225 youth and young adults each year, and their partnership is helping turn this vision into a lasting community impact.

The Family Room

Mar 26th, 2026

The Family Room is a nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening families impacted by the child welfare system. Our mission is to support families impacted by foster care by creating compassionate visitation spaces and experiences that help parents and children rebuild trust, nurture relationships, and heal as they move forward together. Our vision is a community where every family experiencing foster care finds dignity, compassion, and meaningful opportunities to heal, reconnect, and thrive.

Each week, we serve families navigating foster care and reunification, offering trauma-informed family time visits that center dignity, consistency, and hope. Research and experience consistently show that both the amount of time families spend together and the quality of those interactions during family time visits are among the strongest predictors of successful reunification. Yet too often, families face limited access to meaningful, consistent visitation.

Our programs are designed to change that—expanding opportunities for families to spend more time together through high-quality family time visits in environments that are safe, welcoming, and relationship-centered. By increasing both the frequency and the quality of these visits, we help strengthen parent-child bonds, build trust, and support families in moving forward together.

Support from the Soar 4 Foundation will directly strengthen our ability to provide additional supervised family time visits. These funds allow us to increase both the quantity and quality of time families spend together, strengthening relationships and contributing to more successful and timely reunification.

We are deeply grateful for the Soar 4 Foundation’s investment in families and its belief in the power of connection to create lasting change.

Milk Crate Kitchen

Dec 16th, 2025

Milk Crate Kitchen is a community-based grassroots organization that is helping fight food insecurity in the greater Portland area while minimizing food waste. Our mission is overcoming barriers to food security by cooking and delivering nutrient-dense cost-free meals to those in need, no questions asked. We rescue food surplus from farmers, food growers, restaurants, and food hubs and utilize those ingredients to create meals. We distribute to individuals and families who are unemployed, low-income, children and adults with disabilities, elderly, caregivers, low income working class, at risk youth, BIPOCs, members of the LGBTQ2+ community, and more.”

So many of the folks that request our service are living at the margins and excluded from food assistance programs. 22% identify as having a physical disability that makes going to local food pantries challenging. An overwhelming percentage are on fixed and low income making the rising cost of groceries unaffordable.

Your Impact
  • We now provide over 800 meals to the Portland metro area communities in need, each week
  • Through an increased capacity in onboarding volunteers which led to increased food rescue, we manage to keep our food purchase and food packaging costs to an average cost $1,000 a week
  • Your $5,000 donation helps cover the cost of ingredients and food packaging supplies, sponsoring approximately five weeks of MCK meal programs; close to 4,000 nutrient-dense fully cooked meals. Meals are provided via home-delivery, in-person, and via our network of community partners.”

"Ethan, what you do through Tsuga is life changing for us. Your camps gave Shayla more confidence, a drive to keep going when life gets rough and bumpy, and a true sense of belonging. She has pride in what her dad has done and what we as a family go through every day – I give credit to your camp for that. Shayla is an amazing child, and I am thankful for the love and support she gets when she is with your staff. Ethan, keep up the good work!!!"

DEAR Day Program

Feb 11th, 2025

“Gordon Teifel is an OSU graduate of ’67 and ’74 who is actively involved in
the DEAR day program and advocates for affordable housing with adults experiencing
intellectual and developmental disabilities. Another OSU colleague suggested asking the SOAR4
Foundation for support. Your grant significantly reduced the DEAR financial shortfall
last month. Our medically fragile customers thrive on the extra attention we provide
above the support for activities of daily living. The SOAR4 grant is a welcome blessing.”

Marie Mills Center

Jan 10th, 2025

We really appreciate your support for the donation Marie Mills Foundation received
from the Pat Casey Foundation.

We are going to be using those funds to purchase
a SUV or Mini Van to help clients in one of our group homes access the community.
It will also be used to travel to appointments they might have in the city.  As you know traveling over the mountain
can be interesting, especially in the winter months. We see this as a very useful safety measure.

We will continue to look for funds from other sources to assist in this purchase.
I am looking forward to you visiting Marie Mills Center when you are in the area sometime.

Again, thank you and the Foundation for this support, as
a non-profit organization it helps to have great community partners.

SOAR4 supports Oregon athletes

October 17, 2024

I want to personally thank the SOAR4 Foundation for your annual support of the Willamette Valley Fellowship of Christian Athletes. None of this is possible without individuals like you who support our mission from Salem to Eugene and out to the Oregon Coast. We now have over 40 weekly FCA Huddles in middle school, high school, community colleges, and universities. As of the end of January, we averaged almost 500 students weekly attending our meetings This has doubled in the last year and a half. As we continue to grow in the valley, our desire is to transform campuses through coaches and athletes into environments that know God’s truth and practice Christian values. You all are an integral part of this through your generosity.

Thank you!
